Thank you present to business owner?

Im interviewing a business owner for a class project this week and need some ideas as to what to send as a THANK YOU gift. (Chocolates, flowers, fruit basket, etc)

I need all the help i can get. Thanks everyone!

Thank you present to business owner?
The card is most appropriate. BUT, if you truly can afford it, visit a classy bakery and have them gift wrap a fancy strudel. Your instincts are correct. The gift is quite professional.
Reply:Thank you, Monstur Man.

Reply:I would send them a "Thank You" card and a gift certificate to a local restaurant (nothing that will break the bank, something casual but classy if possible).
Reply:Definitely a card would be best.
Reply:I would think sending a thank you card after the interview would be enough. If you don't think so, I would suggest a small box of chocolates, maybe something for them to put on their desk (you can see when you interview them if they collect anything), or maybe some stationery.
Reply:There are so many questions about gifts on here, if you people want to get someone a gift so bad, I like Harley-Davidson.
Reply:I think a personal note is appropriate-anything more may be seen as "bribery". Lame, I know, but we live in a world ruled by the politically correct.
Reply:I agree that a thank you note is appropriate and enough.
Reply:A sincere card is all that's required,;but if you're determined to send a gift, a box of chocolates will go over well. Even if he doesn't like chocolate, he'll be popular among his patrons until the box is empty. :)

What was the name of The Little Rascals clip ...?

It was one of the older shows where 2 boys are in love with the teacher. One of the boys is Jackie Cooper, I think, and the other is a chubby kid named Norman.

The 3 of them are sitting on the sofa with the teacher in the middle. Norman hands her a gift like flowers or candy or something and the teacher says, "Thank you, Norman."

And Norman says, "Don't call me Norman, call me 'Chubsy-ubsy'."

I have lots of those episodes on DVD but i can't find that one because I don't know the name!

Help!

What was the name of The Little Rascals clip ...?
It might be called "Love Business"

Reply:In person?? You're dating someone you never met in person? Whatever floats your boat. Flowers.

Help with 8 year old Jr Bridesmaid Gift?

Here's what everyone else is getting: 2 Bridesmaids- Swarovski Necklace and Philosophy Amazing Grace Gift Set. Flower Girl: Build a Bear with personalized LL Bean backpack, in pink of course. Actually, all 4 girls will get the necklaces (to wear in the wedding). I have no idea what to get an 8 year old. I don't think the Philosophy gift set would be a appropriate for her. Shopping is my thing, but I am SO stuck with this one.

Help with 8 year old Jr Bridesmaid Gift?
A small jewelry box would be nice, have it engraved to commemorate the date or to say thank you, so it's extra special.
Reply:Get her a necklace with a heart on it .. have it engraved.

OR .. get her a charm bracelot with a bridesmaid charm on the bracelot.
Reply:Actually, I think an 8 year old girl would like the set. She'll feel like you are treating her like a grown-up. Also, if it is the set I'm think of , it includes bubble bath and shampoo, which she probably will love.
Reply:You could get a toiletry or makeup set that is designed for younger girls, that way she feels like she is getting the same present as the other bridesmaids.

If she likes Barbies, you could get the wedding Barbie. Or, get a Build-A-Bear for her too, maybe a Bride bear.
Reply:If you are in the US what about one of those American Girl Dolls ?

Reply:What kind of girl is she? is she into music? books? art?

If she's into music, get her concert tickets or something (age approrpiate, of course. Hannah Montanna maybe?)

If books are her thing, maybe a gift certificate to Barnes and Nobles?

I dunno, it all depends on what the kid is like.
Reply:I have also seen silver jewelry or keepsake boxes with the name engraved on the top. Those are very pretty and would be appropriate for an 8 yr old.
Reply:Yes, I'm sure she'd like the Build-A-Bear, too.

She'd also like a trip to Libby Lu's, some kind of tweeny shop in the mall, I've seen lots of 8-12 yr old girls flip for that store. They do makeovers, hair stuff, nails, cutesy shirts and stuff, make them all little princesses.
Reply:Get the 8 year old a build-A-Bear as well my 8 yr old loves hers
Reply:How about a lip gloss kit and tickets to a Hannah Montanna concert?
Reply:I have a sister about that age. Does she like dolls, art, or the Barbie movies (like Fairytopia or the Nut Cracker)?
Reply:Things Remembered (stores in the mall or online) has beautiful silver photo albums that you can have personally engraved with her name. In it, you could put several photos from the wedding, including single shots of just her in her Jr. Bridesmaid dress. She will love to have a tangible momento of that day, and she'll enjoy showing it to her friends. We gave my ring-bearer nephew one for our wedding, and he loved it! I think it made him feel grown up, and that he was special on that day, too. You will probably end up with shots of her and her family at the reception, too, to fill it up. Good luck to you, and congratulations on your wedding! : )
Reply:why not a build a bear too?

barbie or dolls

earings if ears are piecred

dvds
Reply:Giftcards are always awesome...
Reply:Ask her mom if there's something she's been wanting or would definitely love to have; and also check with her mom before getting her any kind of make-up item.
Reply:get her an ipod i think she'll love to personalize it with her own music :) something in a cute color maybe pink and ipod nano is amazing coz she can download movies on it too.
Reply:You could get her a necklace with her initial on it or a bracelet with a heart.

Did i do something wrong?

I asked this girl out to my senior prom by sending her 18 red roses with the question on them. Next day she didnt talk to me or acknowledge me at all. After school i texted her and she said she wanted to go with someone else. I was fine with that but now she wont talk to me and she never even thanked me for the flowers. Excuse me for sending someone a really great gift ($100 flowers by the way), i hate being such a nice guy and getting S*** in return.

Did i do something wrong?
Did she get the flowers in school? It may have been embarassing for her to have someone show up to deliver them while she was in class, and then have to carry them around. Other than that, it could just be that she's not that into you. Unfortunately, no amount of flowers will change that.
Reply:You shot your best arrow and what a wonderful one it was. Unfortunately the bullseye was made of stone.

Hope you find yourself someone to take to the prom. Someone with a good heart. Take care.
Reply:you're a sweetheart. but, wow. that was so rude of her. forget about her.
Reply:No you didn't do something wrong. If she liked you, she would have thought that it was a very romantic way of asking her. Unfortunatly, she doesn't feel the same way for you. She could have said "thank you" to you, but now you know what kind of person she really is, and its not someone who would be compatable with a sweet caring guy like you. Find someone who will appreciate the sweet things you do, there are a lot of girls who would love to feel that special.
Reply:she should have said thank you at least......

she probaly didn't want to hurt you by accepting the gift and not going with you.....
Reply:you didn't do anything wrong,

sounds like this girl needs a lesson in manners.

be glad she said no,

hope you find a nice gal to take to the prom.
Reply:Wow I wish someone asked me that way. Trust me it's her lost! dont feel bad you didnt do anything wrong. People like her dont deserve somone like you. Experiences like that should not change the way you are. find somone who thinks ur way is sweet and romantic. My cousin sent a guy a letter telling him her feelings toward him and he started ignoring her. I dont know why people act that way. "Everything happens for a reason."
Reply:no ur a sweetheart

i say she is a bit*h and she doesnt deserve a awesome guy like u

Is it stupid to write the name of the person I am making a CD for on the CD?

I like to give a CD compilation that I make instead of flowers usually on the first date. Is it stupid to write her name (FROM/TO) on the CD? Also, if you are a girl would you rather have a CD as a gift or flowers?

Is it stupid to write the name of the person I am making a CD for on the CD?
no, its sweet and more personal if to write her name on it. i would rather have a CD. it takes more time and thought to make a CD, and flowers die anyway.
Reply:awww! cute!
Reply:when i burn cd's i put people's name on them so no that is not stupid.

I would rather have a cd than flowers that are going to die in 2-3 days.
Reply:I think it would be cool to get a cd because the type of music a person listens to tells a lot about them.
Reply:flowers. you don't know what kind of music she likes so you are basically just giving her something YOU want.
Reply:flowers dude, you can't go wrong with those
Reply:give her (i no it wasnt a choice but) chocolate but if i had to chose from the 2 i would choose flowers
