Any idea for a very special gift for mom's birthday?
Why don't you make her something for her birthday? The best gifts are handmade, and it's way better than buying something. Your mom will love it if you make her something. Maybe a collage of pictures of you guys or something. Just get pretty gift wrap, stickers, ribbons, glitter; and just decorate it. It's better if you give something from the heart, and it's cute and inexpensive. :)

I would take a video camera and record a special message for your mom. Then I would record other members of the family wishing her a wonderful birthday and saying any other sweet messages they would want her to know. After that, I would gather some pictures of her with you and anybody else in the family and turn it into a slideshow with video. It would go picture, picture, picture, video, picture, picture, picture, video, etc... and dont forget to add music to the background! =D all it really takes is a video camera and a computer that has windows movie maker! good luck!

Reply:Why don't you do something very personal, like a collage of photos of the last year-her 'b-day number eg 48th' year. You can get pics arrange them into a frame and add captions of the photo, buy a nice frame or even a cork board and replace the frame on that one then get somone to fit glass to cover it and make it look nice.





OR plan make a photo album similar to scrapbooking, add photos and captions and make it look really nice then you can invest in a really nice box to keep it in, like a wooden box or somehting that she can keep forever.

Reply:The best gift I have ever received from my daughter was a CD with the songs that we used to listen together when she was younger and we used to "hang" together! Songs on the way to school; songs that we listened in the car etc... She took the time to find them (a long time) and made a special gift for me! I felt so special.. I cherish that CD with my heart. Every time I play it I want to cry..it was a time of happiness, memories and love between her and I. It didn't cost a lot, but she put all her love in it... Hope this will help.
