....more than a shy sweet guy who brings them flowers and gifts? From what I've seen the guys who have the most success in the dating world are those who have that "almost arrogance." If you're a guy, and you're shy, you usually get put into the "friends" category, at least in my experience. Women will cry to you about how their boyfriend treats them so badly, and why can't he be more like you? And you're sitting there wondering why won't she dump this jerk and go out with me?
But those are extrerme cases, I'm not talking about verbal abuse, etc. 'm talking more about a guy who has healthy self esteem, is confident, and just a tiny bit arrogant. True?
Please only adults. I'm tired of 14 year old answers.
Isn't it true that women like guys who are just a bit cocky? Not overdoing it to the point of arrogance..
There is a fine line between arrogance and confidence. I HATE it when a guy is cocky, but confidence is good. My boyfriend is confident, and knows what he's capable of. Thats what I like, when a guy can take charge, but still be sensitive.
So yes, that's true.

but there are girls who appreciate the "nice" guys, as well.
i'm not guy-bashing, but i don't think a lot of those nice guys realize that they put just as many nice girls in the friend zone as women do.
i like men that are confident enough to be self-effacing.
