I'm pounding whether to give my b/f roses for the incoming valentine's day. But, do guys like flowers at all?
some guys like flowers, some think it's sissy. Usually when a woman gives a man flowers it's showing she is the leader and the more powerful, and that's saved for the business world, or for someone who gives you flowers then you give them one flower (usually a carnation) for their lapel.





It's the tradition that MEN give to their beloved (usually their fiance or marriage partner) roses. Although roses do have a meaning. If I recall correctly the red ones are for love, the yellow ones are for friendship. A guy doesn't need a floral arrangement. If you insist that you want to give him flowers, then send only one and it would be better if you did it rather than having a florist send it. Just keep it in the frig till the appropriate time (make sure it has water in the container).

Go to www.postsecret.com I read something really cute on there about a boyfriend who is getting there girlfriend a post secret book and putting secrets of there own in there, each secret is something he loves about her. Try that. I think any guy or girl would really appreciate that.

Reply:i don't and none of my friends like them either. we do not hate them we just don't want them as gifts or whatever.

Here's something creative you can do instead that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:





Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
Reply:It is very thoughtful. Wouldn't you be better going with something he likes for sure? Maybe you can cut his favorite pizza into a heart shape. Just an idea.
Reply:I can't remember one guy that likes to get flowers.. cept the hippies back in the 60s ;-)


Get him food. A heart shaped pizza is better than flowers.
