My girlfriend said she doesn't like flowers...?

and she doesn't want me to buy her a gift for valentines day. Does she mean it.

My girlfriend said she doesn't like flowers...?
Speaking as a women who doesn't like flowers and doesn't celebrate Valentines... most likely she means it. But if you are unsure don't buy her anything but make her something like a CD, photo album or take her to a movie (just let her know that you like to spend time with her)
Reply:well material things dont matter, as long as u were togther! give her some stuffed toys.pillows! soething she can embrsed. .coz sometimes we women are not that dmnding we just wait what u guys gave 2 us! it means a lot for us! Report It

Reply:even if she says she doesnt want anything u should get her something that's inexpensive but something she always talks about...Or u could make her a coupon book of hugs and kisses. that's always cute Report It

Reply:I don't know about her, but I say the same thing, and mean it!
Reply:it really depends on how she said it if she was pissy about it then yes she was serious but if she was like oh honey dont get me anything then GET HER SOMETHING!
Reply:girls say that so you dont feel pressured and they dont look like spoiled little brats. Its sweet when guys do stuff without having to get told.
Reply:she is tryin to b respectfull.. cuz she told ya that u shouldn´t buy her something n that means that she doesn´t want ur money. she wants you.. but u could be really sweet n buy her a cute teddybear or choclate.
Reply:Well thats kind of hard but give her something small then.... but cute....
Reply:No she doesnt mean it! come on you should know girls want attention, she wants something really nice so give her something like a promise ring and roses...(better than flowers) or make a romantic dinner and turn off the light and have candles lit all around the room
Reply:No, she'll be pissed if you don't.
Reply:Take her something very small just to be sure...i think she wants a gift but she doesn't want to make you buy her something...buy her something that u thought and not something ordinary!
Reply:May be not, but don't give her a gift for Valentines day. SHow her you know how to respect her choices. If you want to give her a present do it before or after Valentines.
Reply:She may not want you to spend a lot of money on her, especially if she doesn't have much money to spend on you right now. If she says, "don't buy me a gift," and you don't, well, she has no right to get mad. (This is coming from a girl!)

BUT, I would do something special for her on Valentine's Day, something inexpensive...make her dinner, take her for a drive under the stars to a nice secluded area, write a list of all the things you love about her (much better than a sappy old poem). Be creative and do something she'll remember!
Reply:yes she does mean it
Reply:She wants to be "unique" - so try to show her your LOVE in a

very special way (no traditional flowers or gifts).

Now it´s up to you ...
Reply:Classic denial. Every girl loves flowers! Or just getting stuff. Attention. Your best bet is to get her the traditional card and flowers 'just in case' and then top it off with something original like a trip to a lakeside or someplace dark to do some satellite watching. Maybe a balloon ride, something within your means and tailored to her personality to show her you really DO know her likes and dislikes. Or at least care and want to learn what they are...
