Can you sue 3 companies at the same time?

I need an attorney that handles neglect cases.Briefly,it's a hospital who neglected to call me,my mothers guardian, while she was dying. They say they did,my phone records show different.Van service that brought her home--too many details, and a hospice company that also told some untruths,I have paperwork to prove that.Final result form them all,my mother was brought home to a houseful of friends waiting for her with gifts and flowers, who spent all day decorating and making her room very comfortable, but she was brought in the front door deceased.I need the bottom line on this from an attorney.Thank you.

That is horrible! I'm not an attorney, but I wanted to extend my sympathies to you. I'm so sorry! :(

Best of luck in court. They need to pay dearly for that.

(Oh, and...those are DEFINITELY good reasons to sue.)
Reply:In the UK you can. If the companies are related in respect of the claim you can sue a number of companies and/or persons in one lawsuit. However, you should also think of what outcome you may reasonably expect. But foremost realise that it will not bring your mother back. Such cases usually drag on for a very long time. Hospitals are insured against mishaps/neglect and you will have to deal with the insurance companies as well (maybe not directly, but indirectly). They know the game and find all sorts of ways to delay the outcome and you will be out of pocket in no time.
Reply:sue whoever you want - but my guess is you have completely misunderstood this, and you would be better off with a grief counselor then a lawyer. because your mother is not coming back, and ultimately you have to live your life remembering her as something good, not as something to be fought over for years in a lawsuit, which is sure to be ugly, drawn out and painful for you.
Reply:There is no point in asking any of us, real lawyers are not going to give you any real answer at all, other than to contact an attorney and discuss your case with them. Those of us who aren't lawyers are not going to be able to give you a qualified answer.
Reply:You can sue anyone you want, anytime you want, for anything you want.

An attorney will help you out.
Reply:Yes, you could file a civil suit against them.
Reply:That is rotten what they did, I'm very sorry this happened to you . I would sue the crap out of them.
Reply:probably not, you would need a lot of good reasons to do so.
Reply:I can understand your being upset, but really, will sueing anyone bring her back??
