Expensive Purse = good Valentine present?

Was thinking of getting girl I've dated a few yrs now something different than the typical box of chocolate/flowers/jewlery type gift and thought that something like a coach/fendi/prada purse might be a good idea since it is girly and it's something she'd use everyday. She currently has something cheap and couldn't really afford a nice purse on her own.





Girls - is this a good idea? Would you rather this kind of gift over the typical v-day gifts?

Everyone who wants a real "designer" purse buys a coach because they are relatively less inexpensive than say Fendi or Chanel .





They think they are impressing someone with a Coach... BLAH...





I say Dior....





My husband bought me a Coach without really knowing... I gave it to my mom.... Now he knows not to buy anything but Dior or Chanel...

Reply:expensive doens't always mean good. As a girl myself, a gift should be practical and creative, and original, that means, put your heart into choosing one. not just ANYHOW. Try to understand what kind of handbag or purse she likes, colors and shape... sth like that...
