Thank you present to business owner?

Im interviewing a business owner for a class project this week and need some ideas as to what to send as a THANK YOU gift. (Chocolates, flowers, fruit basket, etc)

I need all the help i can get. Thanks everyone!

The card is most appropriate. BUT, if you truly can afford it, visit a classy bakery and have them gift wrap a fancy strudel. Your instincts are correct. The gift is quite professional.
Reply:Thank you, Monstur Man.

Reply:I would send them a "Thank You" card and a gift certificate to a local restaurant (nothing that will break the bank, something casual but classy if possible).
Reply:Definitely a card would be best.
Reply:I would think sending a thank you card after the interview would be enough. If you don't think so, I would suggest a small box of chocolates, maybe something for them to put on their desk (you can see when you interview them if they collect anything), or maybe some stationery.
Reply:There are so many questions about gifts on here, if you people want to get someone a gift so bad, I like Harley-Davidson.
Reply:I think a personal note is appropriate-anything more may be seen as "bribery". Lame, I know, but we live in a world ruled by the politically correct.
Reply:I agree that a thank you note is appropriate and enough.
Reply:A sincere card is all that's required,;but if you're determined to send a gift, a box of chocolates will go over well. Even if he doesn't like chocolate, he'll be popular among his patrons until the box is empty. :)
